|
The purposes of this study was to analyze the association between discrimination and quality of life among non-standard woman employees in university hospitals. The data was collected from 292 employees of 7 university hospitals using a standardized questionnaire. In research methodology, the data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis(model 1, model 2). In case of non-standard woman employees, inequality of distribution, position unfairness, employment instability, number of discrimination experiences were found to have negative(-) effect on quality of life. Job satisfaction and income in general characteristics had significant positive(+) effect on quality of life. High discrimination and poor quality of life about non-standard woman employees who make up the majority in the university hospitals were likely to have negative impact of medical services and hospital management. Therefore, the government needs to establish policies for non-regular woman workers, and medical institutions need to make active efforts to create women-friendly workplace atmosphere.
